Research, Evaluation and Design Expert.
Zablon Omungo is an experienced social science, clinical and public health researcher and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) expert with knowledge, expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods (including anthropological research methods) and application and more than fifteen (15) years of professional level experience in design, implementation and evaluation of research and training. He also possesses extensive knowledge and has the ability to use electronic data processing systems to gather, store, retrieve, analyze, and present data. He has led numerous studies, designed M&E systems, gathered evidence and supported accountability initiatives for several donor-funded programs for such donors as FCDO (formerly DFID/UKAID), USAID, Comic Relief, Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) and across different thematic areas including health and Sexual and Reproductive Health, nutrition, livelihoods, policy advocacy, etc. He has published several papers in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
