Rosanne Rushing (DrPH, MPH) is a global public health leader, educator, and inclusive health policy expert with over three decades of experience advancing health equity, disability inclusion, and rights-based programming across academic, governmental, and humanitarian sectors.
Her research and teaching interests center on inclusive health systems, disability inclusive disaster risk reduction, disability and migration, sexual and reproductive health, and the intersection of policy and practice in global health. She has published and presented on topics including HIV/AIDS prevention, youth trafficking, inclusive family planning and accessible health communication, and has led technical work with INGOs and the UN.
Rosanne’s work is grounded in a participatory, equity-centered approach that amplifies marginalized voices and strengthens community-based education and engagement. A lifelong advocate for inclusive health, she brings a unique blend of academic rigor, field-based expertise, and policy leadership to advancing global health systems that prioritize accessibility, justice, and measurable impact.
